Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer  having approximately 30 years of experience in Rotating and Package Equipment Engineering (with exposure to static equipment and process packages) for detail engineering, FEED and Conceptual / Pre-FEED engineering of large Offshore & Onshore EPIC projects such as Central Processing Platforms/Gas Compression Platforms/Well Head Platforms/LQs, FPSOs, onshore gas processing and LNG projects. Have exposure to both Greenfield and brownfield projects for Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas industry.

Experience includes working independently as rotating equipment specialist engineer as well as working as lead engineer & managing / leading a team of senior & junior discipline engineers assigned for complex offshore projects. 

As lead engineer, have strong ability to independently lead & manage design team to realize project objectives, resolve technical issues and internal / external coordination for the successful and timely completion of project as per project quality and design requirement.

As specialist rotating equipment engineer, have extensive in-depth experience in design / engineering and installation / commissioning support for various types of critical Rotating equipment and package Items (e.g Gas Compressors, Mechanical Drive Turbines, Gas Turbine (power) Generators, pumps, air compressors & dryers, sea water lift pumps, fire water pumps, chemical injection package, N2 generation package) for fixed & floating offshore processing facilities and onshore oil & gas projects. 

The design engineering experience includes hands on experience in feed activities like concept selection, analyzing various technical options, equipment selection & cost optimization and detail engineering activities like preparation of specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, review of vendor offers, technical bid evaluations, kick off meetings with vendors, review of vendor documentation, attending inspection at vendor’s works (FAT), procurement assistance and participation in HAZOP & model review workshops and subsequent close-out of action points.

The installation & commissioning experience covers attending receiving inspection & generating / close-out of punch lists, providing technical support for installation, co-ordination between client, vendor & construction team to resolve punch lists/site queries, writing commissioning procedures (CTP), preparing boundary drawings & isolation drawings, preparing risk assessments (RA) and method statements (MS), pre-commissioning (PC) checks, making permits and attending safety meetings, vendor callout and managing FSRs, onshore commissioning of equipment and preparing preservation procedures of equipment.
