As a senior investment strategist/investment counsellor, I constantly look for winning investment ideas across multi-asset classes (with emphasis on global equity, FX and precious metals) on a rigorous screening and back- testing mode. I employ both beta-smart and alpha approaches. I am proficient with screening fundamental metrics from a bottom-up approach. I navigate the markets with proven Elliott Wave (and other TA) techniques to identify quality equity names trading at distressed prices, which boosts portfolio performance, and find potential multi-baggers. |
Experience
I have 18 years direct experience dealing with HNWs, providing them with actionable investment ideas. I balance my corporate responsibilities whilst providing the correct investment fit for clients. The aim is to have a durable client relationship on a trusted basis. I was a trader at investment banks before embarking on a career in wealth management. This underpins a hybrid capability to be able to fit both strategic and tactical investment positioning.
Education
I hold a undergraduate degree with double majors in economics and accounting. I followed that with a MBA. The biggest value of that came off the finance units where I develop a penchant for balance sheet forensics which helps a lot in identifying equity exposure for clients.
