Tania Winata

Tania Winata is a professional communication graduate of SIM RMIT. She specializes in doing research on any issue or market research. She can come up with creative ideas for her campaign. In her studies in SIM RMIT professional communication, she has gained the skills of working with different people and building up artifacts for various campaigns. In various group projects, she leads the group and makes sure that the group produces quality work on time. She is always committed to her work and always ensures that she produces her work on time. She has honed her presentation skills and video editing skills using DaVinci in her years at Nanyang Polytechnic and SIM RMIT. She has a willing-to-learn attitude toward her work. She believes that only with setbacks and people’s criticism, she can improve herself better in the communication field. During her free time, she will read books about marketing and public relation. Sometimes, she will learn to do photoshop online. Therefore, she is able to design posters and edit any photo that she needs to do for her artifact in a short period of time. She loves working with people and values integrity. She is keen to work in the Public Relations and Marketing field. She is passionate about building up her skills in the communication sector. She aims to bring revenue and built up any company's reputation that she is working with using the skills she gained in her studies. She wants to make a big difference in the communication sector.

Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. (1 Sep 2016 - 1 Sep 2018)

During my time at Marina Bay Sands, I held various part-time positions where I consistently delivered professional service and contributed to the smooth operations of the establishment.

As a Banquet staff member, I provided exemplary service by serving food and beverages to guests. I also took part in event preparations, including table setting, to ensure a visually appealing and organized setup. Additionally, I had the opportunity to host guests and serve cocktails while addressing any inquiries they had.

In my role at DB restaurant, I maintained high standards of hygiene by sanitizing utensils and menus. I ensured an ample supply of utensils and wine glasses and meticulously recorded the usage of cloth for efficient inventory management. Moreover, I was entrusted with setting tables and chairs for VIP guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

Working at Sweet Spot Café, I prepared customer orders with great attention to detail and cleanliness. I took responsibility for arranging chairs and tables, creating a pleasant dining environment for customers. In addition to serving customers and addressing their queries, I consistently replenished utensils and condiments to enhance their dining experience.

Gemalto Pte. Ltd. (26 Nov 2018 - 16 Feb 2019)

At Gemalto, I joined the team as part of an important project, where I worked closely with my supervisor in the control room to safeguard customer information from any potential leaks. By meeting all the project requirements and adhering to the set deadline, I contributed to the successful and smooth delivery of the project.

Pantrade operations – Supply Chain (Data Entry Internship) (19 Dec 2019 – 18 Nov 2021)

As an intern in Pantrade operations, I played a crucial role in the supply chain by accurately entering daily orders into both the company and customer systems. I conducted monthly stock counts to ensure efficient inventory management. Additionally, I skillfully packed online orders and diligently maintained filing systems. I took responsibility for verifying and updating the system regarding unpaid orders. Furthermore, I promptly responded to customer queries, providing excellent customer service. Utilizing Microsoft Excel, I created driver schedules, optimizing the logistics operations of the company.

I am currently pursuing my studies at SIM RMIT in the field of Professional Communication. Throughout my academic journey, I have acquired a diverse skill set that spans across various media sectors, including journalism, film media, advertising, and public relations.

One of the key areas of focus during my studies has been the development of innovative campaign ideas, along with the ability to create compelling media artifacts such as posters, banners, and videos to support these campaigns. I have honed my skills in shooting films and editing videos using industry-standard software such as DaVinci Resolve and InShot, enabling me to independently produce high-quality visual content.

Moreover, I have gained expertise in writing press releases and reports, ensuring that they adhere to professional standards in terms of structure, tone, and language. Additionally, I am proficient in designing visually appealing presentation slides using Canva, which enables me to deliver clear and engaging presentations to diverse audiences.I have gained the skills to be able to work with different people and be a great teamplayer

Overall, my academic journey at SIM RMIT has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set in professional communication, empowering me to excel in various media-related roles. I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively and add value in any professional setting within the media industry.
