Teo Heng Kai

I am a recent graduate from Singapore Management University, majoring in Finance, and have gained experience through internships and summer analyst roles at SMBC Nikko Securities, BDO LLP, and Te-cAxA Capital Advisory Private Limited. 

In these positions, I have assisted in investment banking and corporate advisory activities, performing valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow modeling, trading comps, and precedent transactions. My work has included supporting senior bankers in origination efforts and deal execution, as well as interacting with client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions. 

I am passionate about M&A and am interested in pursuing a career in this field. 

I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and professional experience in the corporate finance space. As an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at SMBC Nikko Securities, I supported senior bankers in origination efforts and deal execution, assisting in constructing buyer lists, company profiles, pro forma financial statements, and valuing companies. As a Corporate Advisory Intern at BDO LLP, I was involved in multiple business valuation and audit support projects, while assisting in the drafting and publication of BDO's Singapore M&A trend report for 2021. As a Mergers and Acquisitions Summer Analyst at Te-cAxA Capital Advisory, I performed pricing analysis, interacted with client management teams, and prepared information memorandums to support deal pitching and business development. I am now aspiring to pursue a career as an investment banking analyst in M&A.

I recently graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management degree, majoring in Finance. During my studies, I took relevant coursework such as Corporate Finance, Corporate Reporting and Financial Accounting, and Financial Institutions and Markets.
