Victor Keong

I have more than 30 years of Infosec and technology leadership experience around the globe, bringing his rich tapestry of cross-border/cultural perspectives from the data center to the cloud, and translating the key challenges to board-understandable priorities. 

Prior to returning to his native Singapore in 2010, I spent 17 years with Deloitte in Canada. From a functional perspective, I was an experienced partner Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services group, where he held several senior roles in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services’ Global Management Council, including Asia Pacific Cyber Risk Services’ Leader and Global Leader for IT Vulnerability Management. I helped build the Cyber Risk Services Practice at Deloitte into one of the pre-eminent security consulting firms in the world. I was also Deloitte's Lead Client Service Partner with (ISC)2 - Information Systems Security Certification Consortium - where he directed Deloitte's global certification program with (ISC)2, culminating in 1000+ CISSPs globally within Deloitte in 3 years, the largest among any professional services firm.

I am currently the inaugural APJ Field CISO at Cohesity, where I engage with the key stay-awake issues OF CISOs, especially with the all-around-us threat of Ransomware. I also held inaugural Field CISO positions for Cisco Systems and Checkmarx. I also speak/read/write Mandarin fluently.

Infosec veteran, many different roles served, from consultant to outsourced CISO, to solution architect for multi-tiered enterprise security implementation.  Extremely passionate about information security, people builder and very strong in communications and stakeholder management.  Also has perspectives from global experiences.
