Vita Riya

Hello, my name is Riya. I'm 22 years old. I just finished my education and I have been working in both the FNB and hair salon as a receptionist since I was 16 . I am a high-achieving employee who provides extended customer service, cultivates relationships and has clear verbal and written communication. As a self-motivated team player, I enjoy forming links and partnerships with the clients. I manage several tasks at once while producing top-notch work outcomes. Additionally, I enjoy pushing myself to learn new things and develop myself in order to create goals and have a keen side to details such as learning how to tattoo and doing art during my free time . I have been doing makeup since I was 4 years old and has definitely played a major role in my life and what I have chosen to do. I have also done makeup on my friends , family and many others a while back to earn a side income.

I was working in an ice cream shop for 5 years where I was doing service crew that worked at the front line. I was learning and shifting towards the energy of making ice cream , serving ice cream , desserts and beverages while making sure that the customer service of attending and greeting of customers were made. Alongside I did cashiering , handling of cashier , answering of phone calls , delivering , waitressing , stocks as well as the clean up crew of both the morning and afternoon shifts. After quitting the job , I landed in a hair salon industry where I am working for about 1 year where I am a receptionist. My duties were to ensure the booking of clients , making sure their needs are made , answering phone calls , sending reminder messages , filing of papers , taking payments , handling cash , end of day sales , helping my colleagues with their work and helping out and about in the store. Both of these jobs are also tied in together when I was schooling and working which shows that I am able to have a good time management , devoted , ensuring that I am providing the best of service and persistent. 

I was studying psychology in university where I learned about human and their interactions alongside their relationship while growing up as I have always been taking note of people’s body languages and the way they speak as well how they communicate which interested me to pursue this course.
