Xin Ying Lim

I am a 3rd year Chemistry and Biochemistry Undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University and I am interested in the food science industry. During my free time, I enjoy baking and experimenting with different recipes and ingredients. As an inquisitive and creative individual, I am open to broadening my horizons through internship opportunities.

From May 2022 - Aug 2022, I had the opportunity to undergo a teaching internship at The Learning Lab. My role was to design and implement individualized lesson plans for students, grade homework assignments and provide feedback to students on areas for improvement. I also had to establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents which has allowed me to develop my interpersonal communication skills. Through this internship, I have gained valuable insights into the education sector and have learned to be more adaptable and meticulous.

I am currently a Year 3 Chemistry and Biochemistry student at Nanyang Technological University.
