Hi! My name is Liu Xing Ying (just Liu is fine too)

Liu is a self-taught photographer who likes to create  visually appealing imagery that is inspired by her daily  life experiences. As she dives deeper into the art of  photography, Liu finds her passion in conceptualisation.  She is not afraid to venture things that is out of her  comfort zone.  With a background in Digital Visual Effects, Liu's interests  and drive extends to cinematography and video edits, widening  her knowledge in production techniques.

Experience

2019 - 2020 : (November - January)  

VIVIDTHREE PRODUCTION  

Liu worked as a Generalist in VFX Department doing 3D modelling  and compositing. During her 3 months of internship, She did  low poly 3D modeling for Outward Bound Singapore Camp showcase video and also composited 42 shots for  3 different movie titles.

2020 - 2021 : (July - November) 

ONE FOOD STORY  

A reliable team member in the company, Liu worked as a video editor.  Her works include events, commercials and TikTok videos.  After a year, the company promoted her to a chief editor position.  Additionally, she also took up the role of DOP during production. Deliveroo, MOS, Tindle, Leprino Cheese, Lee Kum Kee,  Bo Bo and RU and more are some of the clients that she has worked  with previously. She has also been tasked to create concepts and  present storyboards to clients as well.  Aside from being competent in concept building, staging and directing,  Liu is also takes charge in leading her junior editors proficiently  in both production and video editing.

THE SMART LOCAL
Liu was a creative assistant. She photographs and edit pictures for instagram and article for The Smart Local Media Group.She also ideate, execute and produce client and organic lifestyle content for The Smart Local Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels.
