Ye Htet

My name is Ye Htet. I have graduated from Mawlamyine Technological University, Union of Myanmar, in 2014 with Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Power. I am currently enrolled in the Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling Management course at Singapore Polytechnic. This program is enhancing my skills and knowledge in the field, providing me with valuable insights into effective BIM management.

I’ve had about five years’ experience as a position of Engineer & BIM Modeler in Singapore. I wish to broaden my career horizon through knowledge, experience and expertise gained from the past and to seek for further career through learning, sharing experience and knowledge in a new work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare the material requirements of site after specification is confirmed by consultant and order the material requisition to Purchasing Department.
• Planning and supervision, team leading, preparing and submitting daily report to Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on all sub-contractor scheduling and material ordering.
• Submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• Check Shop drawings submitted by contractor & Check material arrival on site & check the material installation progress on site.
• Issue/Comment the Shop Drawings to contractor after checking.
• Preparing work procedures, checklists, inspection and test procedures.
• Preparing method of statement, safe work procedure, risk assessment before start work.
• Preparing OMM submission.
• Estimating the B.O.Q of M&E materials for Project and Calculation of the Material Costs and Labors Charges.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation for shop drawings, as-built drawing submission using AutoCAD & Revit 3D.
• Assist in maintaining established BIM standards and workflow.
• Prepare/Revise models for Clash Detection Coordination.
• Generate detailing and working drawing as per on site requirements.
• Modeling of MEP services according to given CAD design drawings.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings.
• Prepare recess for MEP services accordingly approved shop drawing at precast components.
