I am a highly motivated, hardworking, innovative and responsible working professional, experienced in the field of fine arts, visual arts, arts & Design. I am also an SEN trained teacher seeking a position in an education department which will utilize my professional leadership skills developed through past trainings of pedagogy and child psychology. I have a positive, student focus approach to teaching and eager to learn from others in a team which stem from a strong drive to create a positive effective learning environment.

My name is Corrina yeo, a working professional from Singapore. Today I am a bilingual professional teacher with four years, close to five years of experience. Soon after I have gained my qualification of PME (professional Master of Education) in arts and design. I am proud to say I have become the teacher I have always wanted to be. Given my past experiences and exposure that have led me to pursue teaching which has enriched my life. The acquired knowledge over the years I had developed from early childhood all the way to post primary, secondary level has equipped me with skills that allow me to assist all kinds of individuals to the best of my abilities. That would include all SEN students as I have not only worked alongside with them but also SEN, SNA (special needs assistants) teachers, coordinators, class representatives.

I believe due to my exposure to the world, having taught in Taiwan, Singapore, UK and Ireland, has led me to develop an adaptability to rise to any challenges and recognising different behavioural habits in learners within different environments or specific situations. Be it bei in an international school or in art college, it has helped me develop my character as enthusiastic and confident person in assessing different forms of learning. Such as including implementing the right tool to assess and assist a child in the important growing process of learning in an inclusive environment, before facilitating the necessary steps to nurture students to take initiative and be in charge of their own success by becoming higher achievers towards their own dreams.
