Yi Ling Tay

Many years ago, I came across a message in a museum about changing the world, and till today, this message continues to inspire me to develop myself into an individual who is able to make changes to the world, and help as many people as I can. 

I am a highly determined individual, which gives me the ability to execute my tasks well. With my creativity and critical thinking skills, I am able to overcome any challenge that comes my way. I guarantee nothing but excellence as I strive for perfection in everything and anything I do. Despite being a fresh graduate, my ability to adapt into new environments would help me pick up new skills and knowledge fast, and quickly become a efficient and effective member of the team. 

Currently, I am a part-time research assistant with the Singapore University of Social Sciences. As a RA, I help to collate, sort and create charts based on quantitative and qualitative data. I also help to create training materials based on the research objectives. 

From August 2021 to Janurary 2022, I was a Digital Marketing Intern with the Tomorrow Grp. I assisted in the development of branding and marketing strategies for multiple clients, including the creation of social media content. I also took part in the creation of pitches for the agency.

From May 2021 to August 2021, I was a Social Media Intern with the Child Protective Services, a division under the Ministy of Social and Family Development. Under the Organisational Development team, I help to create EDMs for internal communication, ran video and photoshoots, as well as conducted research. 

Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Communication at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. My expected graduation period is June 2023. 

Previously, I was award a Diploma in Business Management from Nanyang Polytechnic. I specialized in Customer Relations and Service Management, as well as International Business.
