I am currently a sophomore student at Singapore Management University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics. I possess excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently convey information to all levels of staff, from upper management to peers, vendors and external clients, to ensure top-flight organisational efficiency.

I have been acknowledged by my supervisors as a results-oriented achiever and team member with excellent communication skills and the ability to identify potential target audiences and markets for growth opportunities.

My experiences include successfully driving business contracts and vendor engagement (proposals, pitches and event planning), to maximise business revenue and profit. Through my internship experiences, I have become knowledgeable in ensuring adherence to organisational objectives and goals.

In my internship experiences, I have participated in the growth of business development as well as gained the know-how to utilise key trends from target audiences to identify business growth opportunities and generate business leads.

I am interested in venturing out to different fields in the finance industry, especially towards the front-office sector.

Payments Development and Data Connectivity Intern (SGQR+) – Fintech and Innovation Group (May 2023 - Present) 

• Led a comprehensive market study to evaluate the level of SGQR adoption and delinquency in Singapore and presented the findings and recommendations to the department. 

• Assisted the Behavioural and Insights Research Unit in conducting merchant research studies. 

• Analysed consultation feedback from other banks, card scheme operators and merchant acquirers to design the SGQR+ solution with BCS. 

GXS Bank 

Compliance Intern (January 2023 – April 2023) 

• Analysed and assessed the relevant acts, subsidiary legislations and notices for the central compliance team. 

• Utilised Google Sheets (Excel) to organise, centralise and manage compliance information and data 

• Adopted Google Apps Script to develop and implement compliance systems, procedures, and controls. 

• Assisted the regulatory compliance team with research to support advisory work, training slides and other ad hoc reports the team requires to draft. 

• Enhanced understanding of compliance concepts such as Guidelines on Communication with MAS, Insider Trading and Large Exposures Framework.

• Conducted industry analysis to establish potential target audiences, markets and competitors for growth opportunity areas. 

• Identified opportunities using key trends from target audiences with market research and converted cold canvassing into qualified leads.
