Zan Jae Ang

My name is Ang Zan Jae.  I am 21 years old this year and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Year 1 student.  I have been awarded the NUS Business School Dean’s Scholarship for the course of my study.  

After I completed serving my National Service at the end of 2022, I worked for five months at UOB’s Parkway Parade bank branch as a Digital Advocate.  To undertake this customer-facing role, I had to be well-versed in the “UOB TMRW” mobile application, ATM services and basic banking procedures and products.  Additionally, I had the opportunity to interact with customers from all walks of life, including the elderly.  This work experience has allowed me to gain basic banking knowledge, and hone my interpersonal and communication skills.

Prior to NUS, I studied under the Integrated Programme (IP) at Temasek Junior College (TJC) from 2015 to 2020.  My learning journey has endowed me with a sharp and critical mind, enabling me to analyse problems and present solutions in a clear and concise manner.
