 l  Master Researcher on Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) for CO2 Capture 

• Directed research under Prof. Jiang Donglin on metal-free covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for sustainable CO2 capture, addressing ecological concerns of traditional metal-based adsorbents. 
• Designed a covalent organic framework (COF) incorporating long-chain amines to improve CO2  adsorption efficiency, utilized ChemDraw for molecular structure design and employed Material Studio to assess synthetic feasibility and calculated theoretical CO2 uptake capacity based on structural parameters and adsorption principles.
• Synthesized COF materials in the laboratory by optimizing reaction conditions and monomer ratios. Characterized monomers using NMR spectroscopy to confirm purity and identity prior to framework formation—skills directly transferable to pharmaceutical synthesis workflows. Analyzed synthesized COFs via PXRD (crystallinity), BET (surface area, pore size, pore volume), FTIR (functional group transformation), and elemental analysis (composition verification), correlated theoretical predictions with experimental results to validate structure-performance relationships and ensured compound integrity per standard quality control protocols.
