Hi, I am zixian, a year 2 data science and business analyst student. I am looking for internships to increase my knowledge and learn more about the data analytics industry. My goal is to work in a IT industry as a data analyst. 

I have worked as a Retail Assistant at Cotton from May 2021 to Dec 2021, where I ensured high levels of customer satisfaction, maintained store condition and visual merchandising standards, and addressed customer complaints and inquiries. I also worked as an Intern at Protective Intelligence Network from Feb 2021 to May 2021, where I undertook a training course in open-source intelligence security exploitation and assisted in gathering information using the skills taught in the training program. In addition, I was an Intern as an Assistant HR at Shiner Facilities Pte Ltd from Feb 2020 to June 2020, where I worked closely with the HR team in monthly payrolls, assisted in accounting of personnel, took minutes during meetings, organized important documents, planned team bonding events, and performed other ad-hoc tasks.

I am currently pursuing a BSc. (Hons) in Data Science and Business Analytics at the University of London, expected to be completed by July 2024. As part of my academic experience, I have been actively involved in the SIMDataAnalyticsClub, where I served as Vice President for the academic year 2022/2023, and as a subcommittee member for the academic year 2021/2022.

During my term as Exco, I have also conducted workshops on Python, Excel, and Tableau, with over 30 participants. Moreover, I collaborated with external companies on a project focused on automating data extraction and analysis for accounting and financial reporting of cryptocurrency investments. This project involved using Power BI for data visualizations.
