Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead the planning,execution, and delivery of technology projects related to shop floor systems,ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements Gathering :
Collaborate withstakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements for shop floor systems,translating business needs into technical specifications.
Product Development:
Work closely withsoftware developers, engineers, and designers to conceptualize, develop, anddeploy shop floor software solutions.
Product Roadmap:
Develop and maintain aproduct roadmap for shop floor systems, aligning it with business objectivesand technological capabilities.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigoroustesting processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of shopfloor software applications.
User Training and Support:
Coordinate usertraining sessions and provide ongoing support to shop floor personnel to ensureeffective adoption and utilization of new technology solutions.
Data Analysis:
Utilize data analytics toolsto extract insights from shop floor data, identifying opportunities foroptimization and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure that shopfloor systems comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, andimplement robust security measures to protect sensitive information.
Vendor Management:
Evaluate and managerelationships with external vendors and technology partners, leveraging theirexpertise and resources as needed.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Fostercollaboration and communication across departments, working closely withoperations, IT, engineering, and other teams to drive alignment and achieveshared goals.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degreepreferred).
Proven experience in project management,preferably in a technology-intensive environment.
Strong understanding of shop flooroperations and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication skills, with theability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technicalstakeholders.
