    Position Overview

    We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our IT Project Management Office, playing a crucial role in the transformation of our parks and the enhancement of the Wildlife Precinct.

    Reporting to the Deputy Vice President of the IT Project Management Office, the successful candidate will manage digital transformation initiatives from inception to execution. This includes designing specifications, overseeing procurement processes, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring the seamless operation of our Enterprise Data Platform, Customer Identity Access Management System, and Integration Middleware.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Oversee the management of digital transformation initiatives that support our Commercial and Financial operations, including the Enterprise Data Platform and Customer Data solutions.
    • Act as an internal consultant to provide tailored solutions that meet business needs while managing delivery based on requirements, budget, and timelines.
    • Collaborate with users and project teams to gather and translate business requirements into detailed tender specifications.
    • Manage the complete tender preparation and procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating, and shortlisting vendors to fulfill operational needs.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined timeframes, scopes, and budgets, achieving desired business outcomes.
    • Partner with stakeholders to establish a Data Governance Committee aimed at delivering a robust data analytics framework that enhances organizational excellence and guest experiences.
    • Lead a team of vendors in implementing the Enterprise Data Platform utilizing Microsoft Azure and on-premise databases.
    • Implement Customer 360 solutions, including Customer Identity Access Management and Customer Data Platforms.
    • Manage daily operations and support, including contract and vendor management, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant project management certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, or Agile Scrum Master are highly regarded.
    • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience managing Enterprise Data Platforms and Customer Identity Access Management Systems, with a proven track record in large-scale digital transformation projects.
    • Strong understanding of business drivers and commercial frameworks, with the ability to collaborate with Business Owners to develop data strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
    • Proficiency in key technologies, including Enterprise Data Platforms (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Data Lake, Azure SQL, SSIS), Customer Identity Access Management Systems (SSO, SAML, OAuth2.0), and Customer Data Platforms.
    • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information within large data systems.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex landscapes and adapting to changing business needs.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Proven vendor and team management capabilities.
    • Domain knowledge in travel and attractions, hospitality, retail, or financial services is advantageous.
