    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    **willing to work at Tuas site

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Project Manager / WSHE Officer to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice in the worksite
    • Assist the Site Manager / WSHE Officer to implement reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice
    • Check Sub-Contractors' work to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations
    • Carry out site WSHE programmes, procedures and assist in organising WSHE awareness activities such as tool-box meetings, WSHE orientation, WSHE induction, promotional activities, etc.
    • Monitor risk assessment compliance and report to WSHE Officer for any non-compliance
    • Ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for all site activities
    • Be prepared to stop work or to notify the WSHE Department in the event of any WSHE deviations
    • Value Add of Position:- In-depth knowledge of WSHE legal guidelines to advise and facilitate site activities
    • Liaise with the authorities and clients on all WSH issues
    • Prepare Lifting plan as per MOM requirement
    • Coordinating and supervising all lifting activities in accordance with the Lifting Plan and SWP
    • Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety regulations
    • Check the validity of lifting gears/ apparatuses prior to operating any lifting devices.
    • Be present during all lifting operations
    • Application of Lifting permit and manage all lifting documentation in place
    • To carry out ad-hoc delivery requests as required from the site

    Requirements:

    • Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace, Safety and Health (Level B) as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower's accepted WSH-related qualifications.
    • Must possess WSQ-SUPERVISE SAFE LIFTING OPERATIONS certificate
    • Minimum 3 years of building experience as WSH Coordinator
    • Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course
    • Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
    • Certification in Confined Space Safety Assessor Course
    • Certification in first aider course
    • Possess rigger, signal and other safety certificate will be added advantage
    • Able to communicate effectively with lifting team and client
    • Team player & self-motivated
    • Minimum 2 years of lifting supervisor experience
