Responsibilities

Understand system requirements and technical specifications of the project.
Design and develop detailed, comprehensive and well structured test plans and test cases.
Perform white box testing, grey box and black box testing using wellestablished methodologies.
Perform static code analysis and code review on software modules to identify inconsistencies in coding practices.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using suitable testing frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and test coverage.
Analyse test results to identify logic errors, performance issues, critical code paths and function coverage.
Document test plans, test cases, and test results for traceability and knowledge sharing.
Prepare test summary reports to communicate test progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders for the timely resolution of issues to ensure proper closure.
Improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing process and management, taking initiative to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Enforce coding best practices and communicate recommendations to noncompliance developers.
Coordinate with the project management team for smooth SIT/UAT.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
Strong working knowledge of C/C++ programming language, and preferably Python too.
Handson experience with white box, grey box and black box testing techniques, such as code reviews, static analysis, and unit testing.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Google Test, Boost Test Library, Cppunit, SonarCloud/SonarQube, etc.
Experience with issue tracking tools, i.e. JIRA and test management tools.

Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems (Ubuntu and Windows) and shell scripting.

$3, $5,500.00 per month
