    Description

    The job function is a specialist lead role in managing a team responsible in Equities Post Trade Life Cycle Processing for Local & Foreign Markets.

    The candidate is responsible to ensure daily transactions are processed in accordance with service level. The candidate must be highly detail-oriented when processing numerous transactions with strong quality mindset. The candidate must be a team player as he/she is expected to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
    Roles and responsibilitiesManage the Team responsible in Equities Post Trade Life Cycle in day-to-day liaison with Internal / External Clients as well as 3rd Parties (e.g. Custodians, Counterparties etc) to deliver quality services within established controls & service levelsProcess Trading Transactions in various instruments including Securities, Fixed Income in Local and Foreign Exchanges adhering to documented procedures, control guidelines and compliance frameworkMaintain strict oversight of the Team's deliverables and processes to ensure no operational risk and control lapsesEnsure any discrepancies / exceptions are timely addressed and solution escalated to Head of Department for prompt and effective resolutionResponsible to provide accurate / timely statistics for Management and Regulatory ReportingsIdentify opportunities, develop strategies and design execution plans to continuously streamline / automate processes / drive innovations to achieve better customer & employee experiences as well as improve operational efficiency with yoy operational cost savingsChampion various Initiatives working with Internal / External Stakeholders in documenting Functional To-BEs, User Test Cases, etc to the Actual Implementation of the Systems / ServicesMentor / Role Model to the Team

    QualificationsRequirementsBachelor's Degree with Min 8-10 Years of relevant experience of Singapore and Foreign Markets, Depository Clearing and Settlements (ideally with Securities / Brokerage Backoffice experience)Eye for details and meticulous in managing tasks assigned within tight timeline and service levelsStrong risk controls / compliance mindsetStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal/written communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude towards learning new roles and adapting to changes / varying prioritiesSelf-motivated and Pro-active with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team (across multiple functions)
