NEW, Senior role within Asset Allocation and multi asset class portfolios

In this newly created role as a member of the highly collaborative Asset Allocation Team which is responsible for building and managing the Dynamic Asset Allocation Relative Country (DAA RC) portfolios, this senior position has responsibility for the formulation of the Relative Country framework, portfolio construction and risk management at the Asset Allocation level for the CBUS diversified investment options.


Key areas of focus in the include requiring a sound understanding of Fundamental, Valuation, Policy, Momentum/Technical factors affecting the risk and return outlook from a Relative Equities, Bonds, Foreign Currency and Commodities perspective across key countries/regions of the world.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • 15 years plus investment experience with a track record in portfolio construction and risk management of large institutional global macro investment portfolios.
  • A robust understanding of key factors that are likely to influence the outlook for asset classes is essential.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to liaise across a wide range of investment professionals both internally and externally will be a core component of this role.


With a proven track record in investment decision making and management of large sophisticated multi-asset class institutional portfolios, deep and broad financial market and asset allocation knowledge, likely gained through working in an investment strategy or asset allocation function within a fund manager or a superannuation fund and exceptional quantitative modelling and problem-solving skills will set you ahead of the pack.
