Job Description

Perform custom design, general arrangement, and fabrication drawings for:

complete systems check

ductwork and pipework

steel-structure - vessels, equipment's, platform, stairway/ladder and supports

Design and sizing of pipe and duct work based on common industry standards

Perform FAT at fabricator workshop

Take site measurements

Take engineering sketches and prepare detailed drawings

Read design specs and follow customer design specs

Prepare detailed PID's, PFD's

Prepare BOM on Drawings that are clear and concise

Key Knowledge – Mechanical

• Pipe + ductwork sizing, fittings, structural steel selection

• Materials: CS, Galv., SS304, SS316, SS309, SS310, Duplex SS, Hastelloy, FRP etc.

• Basic Heat transfer insulation and cladding

• Flanges, DIN or ASME B16.5, non-ASME flanges, gaskets

• Supports – fixed points, sliding points

• Maximum span for ductwork or piping

• Plinths, concrete pads anchoring systems

• High temperature ducts and heater boxes, heat exchangers

Equipment handling, lifting and transportation

Your Profile

• Study in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting and Design

• Experienced in 3D design software – AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor etc.

• Experienced with common design-norms such as DIN-EU, ASME, OSHA, SMACNA etc.

• Experienced in the design of engineered process related products and systems

• Fluent technical and business English

• Logical and quick thinker and fast learner is a must
