Our client is one of the market leaders in Energy industry. As part of their regional expansion, they are seeking for an Assistant Manager, Tax to join Singapore Office. This role will work in a team of 3 and report directly to the Head of Finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall performance of the tax function for the Group

• Ensure compliance for direct and indirect taxes and tax accounting in statutory reporting is completed accurately and timely for all entities, in compliance with the company policies and legislation.

• Partner with Business Leaders of different regions to understand the tax status of each region and works closely to improve tax benefits.

• Understand and report on key drivers for the Group's monthly effective tax rate, including provide tax input into regular forecasting and budgeting processes.

• Lead tax planning and compliance for potential/existing merger & acquisition projects

• Support the Group Finance & Business Services function with additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting / relevant professional membership

• Candidates from Big 4 firms plus commercial background preferred

• Possess strong regional Tax knowledge

• Candidates with Manufacturing industry will be preferred
