    Introduction:

    We are looking for a Sales Assistant Manager to join our growing team in Singapore. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the freight forwarding industry. This is highly rewarding role with compensation scheme if you are able to meet performance goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own and manage the sales activities within Singapore
    • Identify and contact potential customers and generate sales leads
    • Lead both inside sales and field sales
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new businesses and service existing clients better
    • Collaborate closely with our world-wide stations to develop potential cross border sales
    • Manage sales revenue and gross profit target and manage customer prospect on a monthly basis
    • Find new sales opportunities
    • Acquire new customers and maintain/develop new business from existing accounts
    • Build good business relationships with prospective customers through regular visits and contacts to develop new revenue streams
    • Provide resourceful supply chain management solutions to customers
    • Maximize gross profit with new and existing customers in accordance with given guideline rates
    • Work closely with operation team and customer service (including necessary documentation works) to expedite job completion as per committed service agreement
    • Maintain and update sales records and reports

    To be successful in this role you should have:

    • At least 3-5 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
    • Knowledge of the domestic market and industry trends
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing sales revenue
    • Self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Fluent in English
    • Fluency in Mandarin (optional) is a plus but not required

    Salary:

    • SGD per month, depending on profile and experience
