The Company:


Aramco Trading was established as Saudi Aramco's trading arm in 2011 under the approval of Saudi Aramco's Board of Directors.

It established its headquarters in Al-Midra Tower in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and have 4 other global offices in London, Singapore, Dubai and America.

Today, the company is recognized globally as a critical trading partner for refiners, shipping companies, financial institutions, end-users, and other product-trading companies.

The company trades across the barrel including Crude, Middle distillates, Light distillates, bulk petrochemicals, polyolefin and recently clean energy like LNG, Emission and Biofuels.


Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS) is the largest subsidiary out of the kingdom and is actively trading within the region and globally across all products since 2018.


The Function:


Responsible for assisting the Trader in day to day activities, and also in the Enterprise Trade & Risk Management (ETRM) System through organising and housekeeping the trading positions in the system.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Works with the Trader and physical operations team to ensure successful physical cargo planning
  • Monitor the implementation of the hedge effectiveness and perform the linkage of derivatives/physical in the ETRM system
  • Review the created schedules and nominations by the operations, and ensures its line with the trader input
  • Assist the traders in inputting the trades (physical and derivatives) in the ETRM system
  • Review Trade confirmations as generated by the Trade Confirmation team, and ensure they are in line with the trade recap
  • Monitor and verify the P&L, price exposure, and physical position of the trading book in the system
  • Coordinate with Finance and Administration Group to provide information / data when required


Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the global head of the product or the Managing Director of the Company.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business related discipline.
- < 3 years of experience in a trade support/ trade analysis roles preferred. Fresh graduate with deep understanding of commodities trading will be considered.

  • Experience in ETRM and system entries preferred.
  • Collaborative works well with multiple groups including other business units to capture the best value and fosters relationships.
  • Multitasking responds to multiple players, problems, and procedures/process promptly, has strong organizational and planning skills and uses a structured approach to tasks and problems.
  • Stress tolerant responds constructively to challenges, works well in highstress situations.
  • Attentive to detail thorough in completing work tasks, quality reviews and uses time effectively.
  • Complex thinking not solely driven by volumes but also understands pricing and economics, responds to multifaceted logístical variables, understands direct and indirect impact of decisions.
