You will be working as a Signalling Design Engineer within the System Design team.

The work performed is often focused on the station, trackside electrical and mechanical design artefacts such as wiring diagrams, cable layouts, CAD drawings, physical trackside hardware, and signalling routing tables.

The team also designs interfaces to various equipment and third parties such as platform screen doors, legacy signalling system, emergency stop plungers, signal lights, switches and others.

You will work closely with the Installation, Testing and Commissioning team, Procurement team and others in support of the overall objectives.

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

  • Translate Customer requirements into conceptual designs and prepare associated documentation by performing operational analyses, simulations and technical trade-off studies identifying alternative design configurations and functional features.
