Responsibilities

Perform engineering design, computations, and analysis of gridconnected Wind and Hybrid systems employing Wind, Solar, and BESS using industry standard software.
Coordination of technical proposals and the bid/award process for acquiring associated services, as well as project management of the consultant's work for KRE.
Engineering and design of gridconnected wind farms based on the most appropriate technologies and LCoE utilizing industry standard software
Coordination of technical proposals and the bid/award process for acquiring associated services, as well as project management of the consultant's work for KRE.
Create preconceptual drawings with production estimates for projects and assess structural, geotechnical, environmental, permitting, and zoning difficulties.
Provide and assess wind system engineering designs, modelling, and performance data, as well as engineering assistance throughout construction.
Examine the expenses of structural estimations, connectivity, permits, production projections, and commercial risk factors.
Maintain relationships with consultants and OEM suppliers, as well as staying current on the best solutions in each of the markets where KRE is focused.
Oversee the creation of structural and electrical designs for each of KRE's primary markets that fulfil all national, state, and local code standards as well as client determined criteria.
Maintain design and proposal requirements, understanding of codes and standards, design procedures, methodologies, and processes, and increase project development and project selection process efficiency.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a comparable position
Experience negotiating contracts with third parties
Exposure to various renewable energy asset classes (e.g., BESS/Solar) (e.g. EPCs, Technical Advisors)
Experience with GIS software such as Global Mapper and/or ArcGIS/QGIS is a plus.
