Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated SEO Technical Specialist to join our team.

As an SEO Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring our website architecture is optimized for search engines, implementing SEO content properly, creating new website pages, performing technical SEO audits, monitoring for technical issues, and staying up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm updates.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with our SEO lead to ensure objectives are met and deliverables are received in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to SEO updates on our website
  • Work with content writers to ensure SEO content is implemented properly on websites
  • Create new website pages in popular CMS (eg. WordPress, Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace, Weebly, etc) and ensure they are optimized for search engines
  • Perform and vet technical SEO audits to check for SEO issues and provide fixes
  • Ensure websites' architecture are optimized for search engines
  • Perform regular site crawls on websites and monitor for any technical issues
  • Stay up to date with the latest search engine algorithm updates and update SEO strategies as necessary

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in SEO technical optimization
  • Strong understanding of website architecture and how it relates to SEO
  • Experience with popular CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix, SquareSpace, Weebly, etc)
  • Experience with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, and more
  • Proficient in technical SEO audit tools
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
