Cloud Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Good expertise on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models and Hybrid Cloud Solutions
• Designing architectures on Cloud as per typical application requirements
• Expertise in architecting different domains, including business, application, data, infrastructure
• Security posture planning and implementation for multiple Layers (OS, Network and Front end
• Planning and implementing Disaster recovery strategies using multiple availability zones/regions or Multi Cloud Computing
• Design and implement effective Monitoring and backup strategies for the infrastructure
• Developing technical solutions for complex business use cases
• Review architecture of applications / solutions being onboarded to cloud and provide a platform perspective on the requirements
• Experience with Monitoring tools Zabbix, Nagios and Solar Winds, Splunk, New relic App dynamics and Dynatrace
• Build technical design documents for the implementation
• Build an effective protection against Major security attacks like DDoS, Slowloris, SQL/Code Injections, Cross Site Scripting etc

Experience & Skills:

• Degree in IT related discipline
• Min 7+ Years in Cloud Architecture.
• Amazon Web Services; OS Administration - Windows, Linux; Cloud Security
• Designing architectures on Cloud as per typical application requirements
• Good expertise on IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models and Hybrid Cloud Solutions
• Expertise in architecting different domains, including business, application, data, infrastructure.
• Developing technical solutions for complex business use cases
• Engaging & coordinating with other internal units or third parties for critical issues escalations
• Security posture planning and implementation for multiple Layers (OS, Network and Front end
• Automation experience of cloud environment provisioning using Cloud formation, Terraforms and SSM automation documents.
• Planning and implementing Disaster recovery strategies using multiple availability zones/regions or Multi Cloud Computing.
• Design and implement effective Monitoring and backup strategies for the infrastructure
• Experience with Monitoring tools Zabbix, Nagios and Solar Winds, Splunk, New relic App dynamics and Dynatrace.
• Build technical design documents for the implementation
• Migrations from On-prem to cloud and Cloud to Cloud (between different cloud environments)
• Build an effective protection against Major security attacks like DDoS, Slowloris, SQL/Code Injections, Cross Site Scripting etc.
• Define/execution of migration strategies with lowest possible/zero downtimes
