You will be part of a team of alpha technologists developing platforms for investment teams and quantitative researchers, allowing GIC to harness our differentiated quantitative methods at scale.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that uses advanced quantitative methods, alternative data, and technology to generate superior investment performance.

What will you do as a Software Developer (PEII Alpha Tech)?

Contribute in ideation and execution of enterprise grade solutions to support our Front Office business functions
Interact directly with business users to understand the challenges in their existing/new process, identify and propose optimization opportunities and build technical solutions to reduce manual effort/risk
Provide support through proactive incident root cause analysis and problem resolution
Develop good domain knowledge about the Private Markets space
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related discipline
23 years of experience in data engineering, software development and data visualization
Experience or knowledge in the following technologies is advantageous:

Data Virtualization

Denodo

Databases

MS SQL, Snowflake, JDBC/ODBC

Programming and Scripting

Python,.Net, REST API

- and other JavaScript framework/libraries

Take an agile and pragmatic approach, ensure quick timetomarket and code reusability
Strong team player with deep technical knowledge and keen business analytical skill
