Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate action (income & ELN redemption), asset creation and maintenance.

Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate action (income, cash) and asset creation and maintenance.


The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the
    Securities-Corporate Actions function .
  • Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivery quality services to Azqore's clients.
  • Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:


Daily BAU

  • Depending on the job experience and profile, the successful applicant will be responsible for Income and/or ELN redemptions, Mandatory and Voluntary event processing within the Asia Securities Operations team. Understanding of the core system and process workflow are essential.
  • There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant market practices and demonstrate fronttoback knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling.
  • Proactively manages and resolves discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad
Others

  • Participates to Azqore Asia Operations projects, proactively drives and implements process enhancement and improvements, where necessary
Skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant qualification in Banking/Finance
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Corporate Actions processes
  • Familiar with financial products as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks related to the these products
  • Knowledgeable about SWIFT messages types
  • Experience with Telekurs or Bloomberg is a plus
  • If you don't have the above experience, you should at least be from private banking operations related to securities.
