- Maintenance of existing business (solder, silicon, adhesives, films, semiconductor-related products) and new business development with existing customers.
- New business development for plant-based meat, oil, or processed food ingredients.
- Development of new customers, not limited to existing ones.
- Exploration of new materials and new customers through exhibitions, commercialization of new potential technologies by A-Star, etc.
- Preparation of quotations and negotiation of prices with customers.
- Handling payment-related matters from customers (if any) and feedback from customers.
- Inventory management.
- Selection of appropriate suppliers for trading materials.
- Taking proactive actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Reporting sales activities to the Assistant Manager (once a week).
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales of electronic components or materials, including semiconductor-related products, or minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales of plant-based meat or other food and food additives for food manufacturing companies.
- Experience in distribution sales at medium-sized trading companies, not day trading conducted by major trading firms.
- Proficiency in communication in Mandarin for Mandarin Speaking Counterparts.
- Ability to travel overseas (approximately once every few months).
- Willingness to actively communicate with suppliers and customers (not just waiting for responses).
- Highly motivated individuals.
- Proficiency in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking counterparts.
- Possess a Class 3 driver's license and/or own a car. (Car allowance will be provided.)
