    Roles & Responsibilities

    Overview:

    The role sits in the Import / Export department and is responsible to manage international and regional shipments going through the Singapore regional hub. He/she will work with customs, warehouse staff, shipping companies, and clients. Responsibilities cover shipping, receiving, and record keeping for international transactions. Performance of duties is within an office atmosphere where he/she verifies all documentation for adherence to import-export policies and law.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation and manage all shipping documentation formalities (Customs / Tradenet) and ensuring its accuracy according to customer's instructions
    • Develop and maintain procedures as required as part of Cook quality system and ensure compliance to that quality system while ensuring continued efficiencies are gained
    • Ensure customs clearance in a timely manner with the highest level of compliance.
    • Required to work cross functionally with numerous internal department, including Divisions, QA, RA and Finance
    • Ensure the receipt, storage and dispatch ofall finished goods and rnaterials are handled through the warehouse in an efficient manner in cornpliance with the Trade First Principles.
    • Support implementation of QMS (Quality Managernent System), ensure compliance and maintain its effectiveness
    • Other duties may be directed from time to time, including but not limited to supporting / facilitating timely supply of products to customers and managing /analyzing shipping information for company visibility

    Requirements:

    • Diploma/Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related courses or equivalent
    • Knowledge of L/C documentation, Incoterms, Shipping Procedures and Logistics experience
    • Licensed Customs Broker, Singapore (minimum 3 years)
    • Knowledge in Customer Service, Customs Clearance and Trade Compliance / Tradenet
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word / Excel)
    • Knowledge of Warehouse Programs and Processes
    • Exhibit excellent communication skills at all times
    • Experience working within a highly regulated environment such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals or Biotech preferred
    • Knowledge of ISO 13485 Standard & Dangerous Goods accreditation
