Project Engineer, Analyser System Integration - Singapore - YOKOGAWA ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD.

Description

The Project Engineer will work on Analytical System Integration projects to assist PM in overall project execution, prepare engineering documentations and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Determine technical suitability of analyzer for application and prepare data-sheet
• Perform basic engineering calculations
• Perform detail design and engineering of analytical systems including layout drawings, structural drawings, sampling schematic, wiring drawings, HVAC design, third party system integration (DCS/AMADAS/DAS)
• Selection of electrical equipment suitable for hazardous area classification according to various standards
• Prepare Master Bill of Material, issue Material Request, evaluate technical quote and coordinate with Sourcing/PM for buyout materials
• Support QC/Production/Service Engineer for quality checks, fabrication and testing activities
• Prepare final documentations
• Maintain confidentiality of information received, either in writing or verbally, whether technical, business, legal, organizational, personal or any other information that could result in damage to Yokogawa in case of disclosure to unauthorized persons, regardless of whether the information is classified as confidential or not
• Take all reasonable, necessary, and appropriate steps to safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Yokogawa's assets and information

Requirements

• Diploma in engineering (chemical/instrumentation preferred)
• 2 years relevant experience in the analytical system integration industry preferred
• Familiar with various industry standards, e.g. IEC, ASME, ISO etc
• Familiar with specific country / area regulatory and certification requirements, e.g. Russia, Australia, Offshore, etc
• Proficient in MS Office
• Chemical Engineering Calculations (Phase Envelope, Flow Calculation, Pressure Drop Calculation, Heating Calculation, etc)
• Industrial knowledge in oil and gas/structural/mechanical/power and signal distribution/networking/PLC/control system design
• Knowledge in hazardous area installation
• Good communication skills and versatile
