Experience working with outsourced teams.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Taxes (VAT/ WHT) of Asia Pacific countries.

Job Description

Perform end to end accounts payable and employee payable process.
Prepare and manage cash flow forecast and banking interfaces.
Manage receivables, intercompany reconciliation, fixed assets, bank reconciliation.
Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
Perform month end close including preparation and analysis of Balance Sheet/ Profit & Loss and financial / management reports.
Prepare actuals vs budget travel and entertainment reports.
Liaise with auditors (internal, external, SOX compliance), tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on any issue resolutions.
Prepare standard operating procedures and provide guidance to employees on policies and procedures.
Drive improvements to streamline processes and enhance controls.
Other ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
5+ years of experience in general accounting, especially in accounts/employee payables in a multi-country global organization.
Understand accounting outcomes.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Taxes (VAT/ WHT) of Asia Pacific countries.
Experience working with outsourced teams.
Shared Services experience a plus.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team with people from different countries and cultures.
Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work within tight deadlines.
