- Provide essential support for enterprise-level OSS/BSS applications.
- Manage application deployment for high availability.
- Install and upgrade packaged platforms to keep them performing well.
- Develop automation for operational efficiency and recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with the development team for efficient release and defect handling.
- Maintain strong control and process standards to safeguard business information.
- Address application bugs and performance issues through systematic troubleshooting.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements, with documentation.
- Provide technical support for Production, UAT, and Development environments.
- Be on-call for after-hours support as needed.
- Oracle DBA and SSO set-up experience.
- Familiarity with various Linux flavors, especially RHEL/Centos.
- Experience with Java and web application frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools like Tomcat, Oracle, PL/SQL, MySQL, Postgres, and GIT.
- Competence in automation tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Hipchat, and Bamboo.
- Capability with scripting languages like Java, Python, Ruby, Groovy, JavaScript, Bash/Shell, ANT, Maven, Perl, etc.
- Knowledge of enterprise messaging systems like ActiveMQ and JMS.
- Proficiency in tuning J2EE applications and SQL databases.
