Roles & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Group Chief Commercial & Operating Officer - Long Term Position - Top Niche Specialised Technology Integrator focused on Mission Critical Markets in Indonesia with close relationships with top US/European/Asian technology OEM's - US$XXXM annually - 20th Floor Samsung Hub - High Class 7* Office Environment.
The In-House Paralegal will be responsible for a broad range of technology projects and issues and will stand ready to quickly master new areas of expertise as needed by the business in relation to contract drafting and negotiation, risk management, compliance, contract law, corporate governance, and legal support across the company. You will complement a strong understanding of compliance requirements with a deep and nuanced understanding of our technology business – Telecom/IT/Cyberspace.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role includes and is not limited to the below:
· Handle all legal-related tasks of the Company's Group (including the company's holding company(ies), subsidiaries, related companies, associated entities, etc).
· Draft, proofread, review, and negotiate all forms of agreements and contracts (purchase agreements, commercial contracts, technology supplier contracts, consulting agreements, and/or general corporate agreements), documents (local and overseas), letters and other correspondence, etc. concerning different and various transactions of the Group.
· Assist with signature formalities including coordinating and arranging signatures on documents and POAs attending notary public/ embassies on witnessing the signature.
· Assist in the development of new contract templates and agreements customized for technology projects.
· Support the company and various business units in all legal and business affairs matters including direct liaison with external counterparts whenever necessary.
· Management of legal and compliance process systems.
· Keep abreast of commercial law changes and draft best practice notes and guidelines on acceptable and unacceptable terms and conditions of an agreement or a contract the Group shall enter into with a third party for use across the Group.
· Any other duties as and when assigned by the management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with law Diploma (similar qualifications).
· Min. 5 Years of Related Experience as a full-time paralegal (or similar work function).
· Ability to handle project management work.
· Familiarity with laws relating to contract law, general corporate and commercial, privacy, anti-corruption, and consumer protection.
· Resourceful, ability to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Independent at work while being able to work collaboratively at working levels.
· Self-motivated with a positive work attitude.
· Detail oriented, meticulous, and well organized.
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
