Our client is a Singaporean multinational technology and engineering group with a diverse portfolio of businesses in the aerospace, smart city, digital solutions, defense and public security segments.


With their current expansion, they are looking for Payroll and Claims Associate to join and grow with them, to be responsible for managing and administering Payroll & Claims Services for their service partners.

  • Utilize the SAP system to handle payroll and claims for various government agencies, ensuring precision and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Processing payroll, including payment of salary, annual increment, bonus, AWS, allowances and statutory contributions
  • Process salaries of exit cases (including nopay leave), with a focus on securing appropriate certifications and approvals.
  • Ensure that all pay transactions are being verified and approved by Supervisor before being processed for payments
  • Billing of seconded officers for various government agencies and conduct manual computations for overpayment cases, ensuring timely recoveries.
  • Process Journals and Payment Vouchers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Exercise independent analysis and judgement according to SOPs and recommend course of action when responding to Service Partners
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with timely responses to service partners' queries.
  • Conduct independent reviews of work processes and systems and recommend possible improvements to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Any other adhoc projects or tasks assigned by supervisors

If you are someone with the following, lets chat

  • Preferred Course of Studies in Business Administration or Human Resource or Accountancy or Finance
  • Strong judgment and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills, logical and Critical thinking abilities, and strong numerical aptitude
  • IT savvy with excellent grasp of Microsoft Office and strong appreciation for technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), data analytics, artificial intelligence and other tools (e.g. Access, Macros, Power Query, VBA, Tableu, PowerBI) will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits is a plus
  • Knowledge of HR/Payroll software (SAP) will be advantageous.
