Our Client:
The company we represent is experiencing rapid expansion and focuses on Engineering Construction, Telecommunications, and Investments. They are currently in search of a Project Manager (M&E) to become part of their Singapore-based workforce.
As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution of complex engineering projects, closely monitoring progress and performance against project plans.
The Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple engineering projects throughout their lifecycle, starting from conceptualization and extending to project handover. Ensure projects are executed within budget, adhere to timelines, prioritize safety, and meet required quality standards
- Effectively prioritize tasks and allocate manpower to optimize resource utilization and meet project deadlines
- Collaborate in the preparation of bid tenders for new projects, ensuring alignment with company policies and guidelines
- Evaluate and approve changes that have a substantial impact on project scope, budget, or schedule
- Take the lead in handling intricate and critical engineering projects, closely monitoring progress and comparing performance against project plans
- Identify and troubleshoot operational challenges to minimize disruptions and delays
- Build, guide, and nurture a team of project members with operational responsibilities. This ensures the organization attains its business objectives while adhering to relevant regulations and laws
- Uphold safety standards in line with organizational and government regulations, consistently meeting customer specifications for safety and quality
- Optimize productivity by strategically allocating capital and human resources. Supervise the implementation of project expenses, other assets, and resources, all within the specified budget
- Analyze and approve project investments that align with the organization's needs and goals
The Requirements:
- Hold a recognized degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study
- Possess 8 to 13 years of pertinent experience within the local Electrical/ACMV Engineering sector
- Exhibit outgoing qualities with robust interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiently interact with project members and stakeholders at all hierarchical levels
