Production Coordinator - Singapore - GMP Technologies

Description

• Responsible for the production planning / co-ordination, scheduling, and dispatching
• Monitor & support material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
• Plans for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on time delivery of shipments.
• Evaluate and analyze MRP output to ensure the correct material is driven, ordered, issued, and available for the Contract Manufacturing (CM) to support build and ship dates.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on time receipt, delivery of materials and finish goods shipments.
• Co-ordinate and resolve outstanding materials issues with cross functional department to eliminate surprises material shortages (E.g. RMA)
• Manage material transitions and work with CMs to use up all excess inventory.
• Ensure consigned parts materials availability to support CM production and coordination of materials movement
• Support monthly/quarterly work order-tool material variance review with finance.

• Ensure all customer's ECNs are implemented in a timely manner.
• Work with config engineer to correct BOM errors

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business or technical field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience as production or factory planner, experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is a plus.
• Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
• Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge, SAP experience preferred
