JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the entire sourcing process of both local and overseas purchases
  • Perform daily operational purchasing matters and coordinate shipping documentation, logistics, and schedules, including import permit declaration
  • Review quality of purchased products
  • Monitoring contracts renewal period, variation orders & vendor management
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
  • Liaising with stakeholders, arrange and conduct meetings with vendors
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis
  • Other adhoc related tasks assigned by Assistant Purchasing Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively within a team
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Organized and meticulous
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills enabling one to to deal with internal and external stakeholders professionally
  • Able to liaise with English and Mandarinspeaking associates

DURATION OF ROLE

  • This position is a 6 months maternity cover
  • Fulltime conversion is available depending on job performance
