Associate Relationship Manager


What will you do?

  • Build, develop and work on improving client relationships and profitability as assigned by RM.
  • Reviews daytoday execution of private banking deals to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Monitors private banking business performance and market conditions when implementing new private banking services.
  • Identify potential opportunities and inform RM/sales team to follow up.
  • Introduces products and services to high net worth clients.
  • Execute cross sell strategy as agreed and directed by RM (i.e. deepening share of wallet of existing clients).
  • Builds relationships with internal and external customers through the utilization of appropriate tools or technologies.
  • Liaison with internal departments regarding execution and settlement of trades, delivery of securities, corporate action, payments and receipt of funds, renewal and repayment of loans i.e. work with internal departments to ensure clients expectations are met within compliant boundaries.
  • Liaison with external counterparts and clients/prospects regarding account opening and client servicing matters.
  • Check daily transaction list to ensure trades are processed correctly, prepare and send trade confirmations to clients (where applicable).
  • Preparation of RM's business trip and client meetings.
  • Works collaboratively and endeavours to build good working relationships with other key stakeholders.
  • Continuously upgrade of relevant skills and completion of CACS requirements on CPD hours.
  • Administrative support and other duties as assigned by higher management.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Being degree educated or equivalent is required
  • The role would typically require 7 years of Assistant Relationship Manager experience in a Private Bank
  • As the role requires speaking to international clients, proficient in English is essential
  • An additional language like Mandarin is essential al
  • CACS Paper 1 and
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation skills
  • Advanced Bloomberg and Reuters
  • Ability to provide organization and client focus solutions
  • Excellent administrative and execution track records
  • Strong knowledge in banking products especially in the WM space
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills

Nice-to-have

  • Proficient in Avaloq

Job Summary
As the Associate Relationship Manager, you will provide full marketing and administrative support to Relationship Manager ("RM"). It is similar to being a junior RM but without a sales target. You will also support new business initiatives and initiatives in the life cycle of client relationship management.
