RESPONSIBILITIES

Position:
Associate Teacher (Early Years)**
Reporting To:Principal**
Direct Reports:No direct reports**- To assist the lead teacher in all classroom aspects

  • Helping students to settle down for class (e.g. managing classroom dynamics)
  • Taking students to the restroom
  • Assisting with curriculum delivery and preparation
  • Managing individual students in the classroom during the lesson
  • Managing diversity and pace differences during the lesson
  • Assisting with document management (e.g. filling, file closure, taking worksheets)
  • Helping with the facilitation of classroom activities and games
  • Develop strong relationships within the teaching team to ensure the efficient execution of curriculum
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Company

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum diploma in Education, early childhood, or relevant field
  • Interests in education/early childhood
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Selfdriven with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
