Description

**Our client is a Global MNC, one of the leading players in the IT sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Purchasing Officer to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for purchasing physical/virtual software products from the company's various vendors
Responsible for updating the estimated arrival for the company's open purchase orders
Responsible for ensuring that the company's orders are processed correctly, using the various tools to resolve any product issues before shipping
Responsible for handling the day to day purchasing activities of the company
Responsible for liaising with the company's internal stakeholders to maintain the various product category listings
Responsible for obtaining information/data regarding issues which may affect the purchasing lead times
In charge of maintaining the company's inventory integrity and assist in stock takes when required
In charge of tracking/monitoring the company's orders, ensuring that the goods/products are received timely
In charge of resolving purchasing issues (eg. late shipments, product quality etc.)
All other adhoc duties as assigned
