ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partnering

  • Build collaborative and trusting collaborative relationships with business leaders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives.
  • Working with the Department Heads to build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce profile to increase efficiencies for longterm business growth.
  • Responsible Engagement Programs, acting as Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert, monitor CULINES Team members feedback to drive effective employee relations, retention and reward programs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to business unit management that will enable them to be more successful as they lead their teams.

Talent Acquisition

  • Create talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans to meet business demands through a strong understanding of how talent fits into the business strategy and how to develop talent.
  • Lead employment brand initiatives, improve onboarding & offboarding experience, staff onboarding material, training and development initiatives.
  • Identification and selection of key talent for the organization.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Provide Compensation and Benefits support on salary benchmarking exercise, establish and maintain a competitive salary structure and policies.
  • Review, enhance or develop new and existing policies to remain relevant and appropriate.
  • Compute payroll, bonus, special incentive payments and other relevant compensation items based on policy guidelines and staff's eligibility in accordance with their employment terms.

Performance Management

  • Manage the Annual Performance and Salary Review. Work with Business Units to ensure timely submissions including appropriate justifications for promotion recommendations.
  • Support the Managers in Performance Improvement Plan, provide support in staff exit when necessary.
  • Coach and provide guidance to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels.

Workforce Planning

  • Assist with coordination of annual HR Budget, staff performance evaluation, salary adjustment exercise, including preparation of data for assessment of eligibility criteria and computation of salaries and promotion costs.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual headcount report to HQ for tracking of employee turnover, absenteeism, diversity etc.
  • Champion change initiatives, organizational values and culture; Improve organizational leadership and effectiveness.

Administrative

  • Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts and updating internal databases with new hire information.
  • Responsible for maintaining HR/ Admin documentation including data entry, filing etc.
  • Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems streamline processes.
  • Other duties/adhoc tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Resource Management or equivalent through experience.
  • Strong HR generalist experience in the areas of hiring, development, employee rewards and compensation campaigns, and a negotiation tactics is required.
  • Handson and solutionoriented with the ability to manage some operational areas if required on an adhoc basis.
  • Critical characteristics we are looking out for: Independent, responsible, focused on getting tasks done, ability to multitask, detailoriented, conscientious, and highly adaptable.
  • Must be able to work at all levels of the HR "stack"
  • Strategic, operational, and tactical.
  • Strong attention to details and effective analytical skills with ability to understand complex information.
  • Effectively bilingual as the position needs to frequently communicate with Chinese speaking associates verbally/ in writing whenever appropriate.
  • Possesses a valid right to work in Singapore.
