- Assist and manage with all relevant aspects of Post-Fixture Operations with regards to Chartering of container ships for worldwide clients worldwide
Coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of fixtures agreed by the broking team - Assisting the other members of the team in post-fixture operational, chartering and S&P activities, as may be required
- Collection, maintenance and analysis of market information including: vessel positions, fixture information, sale and purchase transactions
- Preparation of weekly and monthly market reports
- Client liaison and general office duties
- Career Progression to chartering (18 months) - developing the skills and knowledge in terms of Chartering and Sale & Purchase of Container ships
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, or similar specialization from a recognized university
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in shipping operations
- Highly organised and able to multi-task
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Independent and result oriented
- Ability to focus on tasks and analyses situations, systems and problems
- Ability to make quick decisions supported by information and data gathered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
