    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Managing a team of maintenance personnel for all 3 facilities (TBD, Terusan and Tuas ave 11) related matters such as:
    • Security, Pest Control, Upkeep of facilities, cleaning services, liaison with landlord and relevant external bodies, utilities contract maintenance.
    • Plan and manage a maintenance plan for buildings and facilities. Making proposal to improve maintenance program.
    • Participation on 5S and Kaizen implementation and follow-up.
    • Coordinating all services and activities for the optimal functioning of all technical installations and inspections.
    • Be aware of development on the site facilities and monitor the progress status.
    • Work together with other various business unit owners on the followings: Supported by HSE – Fire Safety System maintenance with vendor, PA system troubleshoot and repair, Electrical license renewal – LEW liaison, main switchboard inspection and repair; Supported by Repair and Warehouse – Crane maintenance and annual inspection by PE, Air compressor maintenance and bi-annual inspection by PE
    • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with suppliers, internal stake holders and external bodies
    • Advises on hiring, development, dismissal, and application of employment conditions of the employees within the team
    • Prepares the department's budget and monitors the available budget, and reports on budgeting and realization
    • Plan, advise and coordinate on all facilities related contract reviews and negotiation with suppliers, legal or external bodies
    • Submission of TBD tenant quarterly report to landlord
    • Liaise with JTC inspection on building inspection and coordinate with relevant parties to comply with building requirements
    • Documentation control over office building documentation and update to the facility drawings
    • Perform other works related tasks as assigned
    • Comply with all NOV company and HSE policies and procedures

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or Diploma with relevant experience.
    • 3 to 5 years in management of facility maintenance environment preferable or equivalent education/experience.
    • Technical knowledge or experience in the following preferable:
    • Project/Production/Process management
    • Scheduling tools
    • Business and Planning control management
    • 5S and Kaizen competent

    • MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
    • Trained on 5S techniques and Kaizen (continuous improvement)
    • Preferred working experience in Reliability, Availability, Maintenance and Safety (RAMS) and application of FEMCAs (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) strategies for predictive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance optimization.
