    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Reporting to Manager, Logistics, this position will manage the Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to drive daily Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) compliance and achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. The candidate will also conduct investigation to address logistics quality issues and implement projects to seek improvements in areas of workplace safety, process productivity and cost reduction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage LSPs providing Plant logistics, external warehousing and trucking services
    • Resolve daily operational issues directly with LSPs and stakeholders
    • Prepare and upkeep SOPs and Work Instructions
    • Plan daily transfers from plant to external warehouses
    • Investigate customer complaints to identify root cause and implement action plans
    • Lead implementation of assigned projects and suggest quality improvement initiatives
    • Conduct KPI review meetings with LSPs and lead them to meet performance targets
    • Conduct scheduled audits on LSPs and implement improvement plans
    • Prepare monthly reports on stock reconciliation, cargo damage/ loss, etc.
    • Process LSP invoices in a timely manner, and resolve billing disputes with LSPs
    • Conduct annual physical stock take and perform stock reconciliation
    • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights to support business improvement

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Logistics or Engineering related discipline with at least 3 years of experience in handling warehousing and trucking operations for resin products
    • Candidate with logistics experience in a chemical manufacturing plant preferred
    • Knowledge in Warehouse Management System and inventory management practices
    • Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently
    • Team player with good communication and presentation skills
    • Proactive individual with good follow up skills
    • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel tools/ functions
    • Willing to accept job rotation within Logistics Division
