An international asset management organisation is looking for an experienced Risk professional in their Singapore office. The Risk Manager is part of their dynamic Risk Management team in the Asia Pacific region.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Investment Risk Analysis : VaR based metrics, stress testing, liquidity & capacity analysis, factor based analytics
Risk limits monitoring and portfolios, supports and advises the front office Portfolio Managers and Investment Teams
Works closely with other departments on data management processes, automation, reporting platform, involve in new assessment techniques and solutions
Involve in periodic risk reporting requirements such as for the risk committee
Works closely with other departments with regards to complexity assessments for new businesses, due diligence presentations etc
Involve and participate/lead in projects or initiatives related to investment risk
Helps in research and development of business intelligence and visualization tools to enhance portfolio risk activities to provide risk driven insights

To be eligible for this role you will require:

At least Bachelor's degree in quantitative domain for eg. Economics, Finance, Maths, Financial Engineering from a recognised University
Minimum 8 years professional experience in investment risk management or investment risk analytics
Good experienced in Fixed Income products (FX, Rates)
Experienced in Market Risk and Liquidity Risk Management
Familiar with MSCI Risk Metrics, LMA, Barra, Bloomberg PORT preferred
Knowledge in Python/VBA and SQL, as well as BI a plus
CFA/CAIA or FRM qualified advantageous
Strong communication skills: both oral and written, effective stakeholders management skills, independent, team player, handson and analytical
