The Nutrition Support Service clinical coordinator provides the following care services:

• Care coordination, education and management of home parenteral nutrition (HPN) and enteral tube feeding.
• Clinical care and support to encourage full rehabilitation of patients on both HPN and enteral feeding under NSS and also responsible for coordinating their follow up care.
• Counselling to patients and their families on both home parenteral and enteral feeding process.
• Ordering and basic interpretation of diagnostic and laboratory tests
• Ordering appropriate treatments and non-pharmacologic therapies according to hospital protocols.
• Participate in data collection, research and community outreach activities

Job requirements:

• Degree in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences; or
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or
• Diploma in Nursing, Psychology, Life/Health Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant experience;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel
• Good verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in healthcare setting would be an added advantage
• A team-player capable of working with various stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills with initiative, pleasant disposition and ability to work independently
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
